I think every player on the team should try their best on every play, especially in close games, when they are desperately trying to sneak into a playoff spot, you disagree because that could lead to an injury. We can leave it at that.

It wasn’t for show, it cost a run, it would be at least 4-0 right now if he did the basic thing your taught to do since the first time you pick up a glove. Everything is an injury risk. Lacking the basic fundamentals has cost this team wins all season. Hopefully not another example today.

That makes sense. Stranding runners isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It means that you’re getting a lot of people on base, which is good. The issue emerges when you get them on base, but can’t score them.
