Steves stomach does a weird thing when the tightening happens and he swallows and stutters out “so cool…” Steve takes a step forward and picks up eddies hand observing the claws closer “careful they can be sharp.” Eddie mumbles watching his face.

Steve, wide eyed watching, mouth opens and closes, shock, amazed, “..like a snake.” He mutters. Eddie tightens his grip smirking before letting go “cool right?”

Steve furrows his brows, “wheres it even coming from..?” He mutters mostly to himself thinking it might be rude to ask. “Even better, i can grab things with it. Look.” Eddie wraps his tail like a snake around steves wrist.

“No, Dude its like the coolest thing ever. You can see everything from up there.” He points up laughing. “Wow..” he breathes and steps closer his eyes locking on the tail now. “Can you move the tail too?”

“Yeah, they just go” he laughs “took me a minute to figure out the flying part though.” “Is it like..so fun? Or …wait your not scared of heights right? That would suck.” Steves still looking at the wings in awe.

“and you can just move them? Like the same way you would move your arm? Like they just go? And you like…fly?” He steps back getting a better look of the full wings as eddie laughs a bit and shows off by spreading them out once before folding them back in.

“…can you feel that? Like..you can feel me touching?” He squeezes lightly and looks up making eye contact. Eddie smiles and nods amused “yeah” “woah” steve breathes with wide eyes looking back down and smoothing his hand again before dropping it, quickly moving to another thought

“Kind of feels like…” he smooths his hand over it more, thinking “…like, have you ever pet an iguana?” Eddie stops, smiles, amused “An iguana?” Steve nods quick “yeah like..the weird bumpy skin?” He smooths down the wing and continues the thought before eddie can respond

Eddie smiles cause of course thats steves first question is if eddie is okay “Um not really no. Was weird at first, everything felt kind of..numb then sort of tingly. Took me a-“ Steve reaches to touch the base of the wing,cutting him off and interrupts him…

Steve meets eddies eyes for a second and shakes his head before looking back at the wings (at where the shirt is torn where it seems like his shoulder blades just morph) and lifts a hand like he wants to touch. “Does it..hurt?” He asks softly “looks like it would hurt”

“Uh yeah” he looks down at himself”just something i picked up from…ya know.”” He smirks but self conscious “Thats so cool..” steve mumbles, awed, and walks around to his back peering closer at where the wings sprout Eddie watches him, wide eyed “Your not…scared?”

(Idk the context but the scene starts like this) Steves like sitting outside in his backyard at night deep in thought or something and Kas!Eddie drops down from the sky behind him, startling Steve a little. “Sorry didnt mean to scare you..” “Eddie? You have wings. And …a tail. And..claws.”
