According to Laura Harvey at her prematch presser, Claudia Dickey did not suffer a concussion last weekend, but will be held out tomorrow due to the deep cut (and resulting stitches) she is still dealing with. The team hopes to have her ready for their game at Angel City on Wednesday.

“I mean she's still day to day. So, she made some progress today, like, she was out on the court getting some reps in. She's been working around the clock with her treatment, with her rehab. She's in here, you know, 24/7 it feels like, so, she's working hard at it, and it's just a matter of like kind of how her body responds in the next couple days. So we'll see.

I mean, she'd kind of been dealing with some shoulder soreness for a little while and sort of just being able to play through it, and then it got to a point where it was just a little bit more uncomfortable. So at that point, you know, just kind of being smart with it. And obviously we want her to be out there, like we want her to be out there feeling really good, you know, being safe with it, and like being able to be really effective. And so once their effectiveness drops with an injury like that, like, it's harder, obviously, to have them on the court.”

Seattle Storm guard Jade Melbourne is available for today's game. She explained to me at shootaround that the missed game "was basically just a pissed off foot" bc she has tendonitis in her right foot that flares up, and it was decided four days off was best based on the severity of the flare.
