In ancient times Eurasian bears roamed
The Cairngorm Mountains the Mountaineering Bears call home.
And like our Ancient cousins we instinctively know
That as the summer fades its time for our girth to grow.
Mother nature in anticipation of our natures need
Provides the sustenance required to satisfy our greed.
Whether on mountain sides and forest floors
Or seasonal treats in shops and stores
Autumns abundance arrives with near perfect timing
For us to build bear bodies fit for winter climbing.

Update on #MountaineeringBears advanced rock climbing course. We have divided the big group into two (see below)for their climbing course but anticipate they meet up before the end of the adventure. We are making good progress preparing group 1's climb . Will keep you updated.

7 The team learn to belay lead climbers at the bottom of the crag. Letting out the rope as their partner climbs &taking in slack when it gets loose. Ollie is belaying, Bendor.
