Yes! I'm always taken out of a scene immediately when an overused color (or colour) is the first thing I notice. It happened with that last season of True Detective: Night Country too, where blue can be seen predominantly in every shot (turns out I didn't care much for the story either).

I met him at a party here in L.A. in the '90s and we got to talkin' about jazz and he was very knowledgable on the topics of Miles and West Coast jazz in particular. I don't like his band's music but he sure knows a lot about the good stuff.

1971! That's the year I bought Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin IV; The Who – Who's Next; The Rolling Stones – Sticky Fingers; David Bowie – Hunky Dory; and, Joni Mitchell – Blue. You could make a pretty good case for 1970, 1972, 1973, 1974 and '75, actually, they were all great.
