This guy was delivering a McDonald's order, got on the wrong bridge by mistake, and then was DISAPPEARED by the US government when he attempted to return. No one has seen or heard from him in over a month. You can't make up stories like this.

Caroline Kennedy's letter about RFK Jr. is worth reading in full. Come for the vaccine denial, but stay for the despair and violence. static01.nyt.com/newsgraphics...

Quite the opposite: DeepSeek is more cost effective, which is putting pressure on American tech companies to keep up.

Good to know, thanks. If you're on iPhone, you can add the ticket to your Wallet to avoid this, or just take a screenshot.

I think it's time for Jeff Besos to sell The Washington Post. It's hard to tell whether it's just a series of bad decisions or a coordinated plan to censor what gets published, but either way, it's a bad look that's probably past the point of no return. www.npr.org/2025/01/04/n...

It's not just one word: "Y2K seems like a joke now, but in 1999 people were really freaking out" and "seemingly small software glitch" are ignorant takes on the risks of Y2K. "widespread errors leading to mass panic" ignores that those errors could've also led to actual death and destruction.

I agree. That’s not kayfabe, though. Kayfabe is staged and fake. MAGA infighting is real.

What makes you think this is staged? I think you’re giving MAGA too much credit. They’re chaotic and cutthroat by nature.

Only if “coziness” means running around town all night, every night to avenge the murder of your affair partner, while simultaneously pretending to raise the two children you had with a decent, caring husband who you’ve been deceiving for years.

You have shown that she is singing live at least part of the time, so I was wrong about that. Can you now admit that she's lip syncing part of the time?

000 0

Freesia from the walk home @munchler.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

OK, so it proves that her mic is on, but I'm not so sure it proves she's singing. I'll meet you half way: It sounds like maybe she sings over the pre-recorded vocals part of the time?

000 0

Freesia from the walk home @munchler.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

OK, so it looks like she sings live on some songs when she's not dancing? And lip syncs on others when she is dancing.

Freesia from the walk home @munchler.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

Umm, this actually seems to prove my point. The background track is pre-recorded.

They play the same vocals at every show. It’s easy enough to verify that they match perfectly, which would be physically impossible if she was actually singing.
