An oval-shaped spiral galaxy. Its bright white core is a compact pale spot that glows brightly, filling the galaxy with bluish light. Two faint strands of orange dust swirl out from the core to the far edges of the galaxy. They each join up with an arm of thick, cloudy, orange dust with brighter orange patches, that spiral around the central core. The background of space, clearest at the corners, is black.

Do you think you're sitting still right now? - You're on a planet that orbitis a star at 30km/s - That star is orbiting the center of a galaxy at 230km/s - That galaxy is moving trough the universe at 600km/s. Since you started reading this, you have traveled about 3000km.

Just below Orion's 'belt' you can see the Orion nebula, also called Messier 42. This nebula is visible to the naked eye. It is 1,344 light-years away and is the closest region of massive star formation to Earth. The Mayans considered this nebula as a cosmic fire of creation, which is correct.

Titan as seen through 3 different filters - From Val Klavans
On May 15, 2013, Cassini's camera system, the Imaging Science Subsystem (ISS), looked for clouds across Titan's sub-Saturn hemisphere from 2.49 million kilometers (1.55 million miles) away. The ISS took a number of images of Titan in different filters. Three of which were used for this composite image. This RGB false color composite of Titan is in 3 different filters: continuum filter (where methane is more transparent), methane band (where methane is strongly absorbing), and ultraviolet.

These images were taken on May 15, 2013 and received on Earth May 15, 2013. The camera was pointing toward TITAN at approximately 1,546,873 miles (2,489,450 kilometers) away, and the images were taken using the CB3, MT3 and UV3 filters.
