This might be a longshot, but its worth a try: has anyone here expierenced something like this before? Images are flickering, it looks to me like frames flashing in. Happens across games. Headset: HTC vive I already tried: restarts, reseating cables, gpu driver update, power cycling headset.

Ok, did some digging during my lunch break. You are right, some of the common reasons are a bit dramatic and attention farming for sure (referencing some examples given under your post). I guess context matters. Grief and mourning id say are fair reasons tho. I learned something today :)
