Happy Happa Monday! Here is another sneak peek of what’s in the winter section of the zine. We’d like to thank @happasecs.bsky.social for being a part of it. 🌸 #DewdropsAtDawn #MuLian #TGCF #TianGuanCiFu #HeavenOfficialsBlessing #天官赐福 #慕怜

On the right side, there is a sneak peek of some writing:
“Mu Qing’s frown deepened, like a bottomless pit overlooking with grief. The aire was crisp and clear, yet the felt nothing but the stench of death. Today was his funeral.
The surroundings of the Imperial City were nothing like the day he first found himself in front of the entrance, or even like they were yesterday. In one night, everything had changed. He could no longer recognize his home.
Home?
To Mu Qing, home was a person. And when that person was no more, even heaven would become unbearable.”

Happy weekend! We’re ecstatic to show you Fennel’s writing for the zine. Such a cool winter addition. Pun intended. 🌸 #DewdropsAtDawn #MuLian #TGCF #TianGuanCiFu #HeavenOfficialsBlessing #天官赐福 #慕怜

On the right side, there is a sneak peek of some writing:
“Together, they stepped past the doors of the theater, into the cold winter night. On their walk to the subway station, Xie Lian watched Mu Qing’s face, his breath steaming in the air, cheeks flushed from the cold. Xie Lian felt his heart rise in his chest slightly, the same way it did at the end of a performance, when the whole audience got on their feet, applauding.
But this was better than any standing ovation. Because Mu Qing wasn’t here for the Sugar Plum Fairy, or for pointed feet and high legs and powerful jumps. As the two of them ducked into the shelter of the empty subway station, Mu Qing led Xie Lian through. The broken turnstile again, saying, ‘we really need to get you a pass that works.’”

‘…I’ll be leaving on a mission soon’.”

On the right side, there is a sneak peek of some writing:
“‘The only way to save him, is by making a choice. Give your existence away for his. Erase your own existence from the world. No one will remember you; it will be as if you had never existe. Now, what will you do?’
‘It’s obvious, isn’t it? I’ll sacrifice my existence for him.’
Xie Lian didn’t have to think about it twice. Even if they had their disagreements in the past, he couldn’t let him die. So if he had to give his life, if his existence had to be exchanged in order to save him, he would do so.”

Before a response could come, Mu Qing bowed again, keeping his body angled shallowly, before starting to step back.
Again, Xie Lian stopped him.
The prince tugged at Mu Qing’s wrist, the force of it sending him straight into Xie Lian’s chest.
Mu Qing’s cheeks warmed.”

For good measure, even when Dianxia’s eyes are tearing up already, just like his own, he smacks Dianxia’s wet thigh half-heartedly like he’s seen Guoshi do so many times. Dianxia whimpers like a kitten. ‘Just let me look, okay? And then… and then you can look all you want’.”
