wait wuk lamat's JP voice line when she's "killed" in the play is so funny her ass did NOT get acting lessons

probably a lot of people won't notice this but it's interesting to me a lot of places in living memory include ramps or straight up don't have stairs at all

imagine being in afterlife where everything is meant to be perfect and there's no suffering or loss and you still have to work cleaning tables off at a food kiosk

syrcus tower genuinely is a more consistent presence in my life than any of my loved ones have been and probably ever will be

im not a deadlock fan so i dont have skin in the game but its insane to me ppl getting mad about violet because of "pandering" cuz does this game Not take place in mid 1900's NYC. the place with one of the most populous chinatowns in the country. like a place considered very significant to the city

its a little funny in quite a few of the sol9 cutscenes they have npcs walking in the back but theres only like 4~5 models for it so you keep seeing the same ones and its like oh this lalafell guy in the back here is doing some LAPS

000

Eirlys🍎 @muguetdrop.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

y'know i wonder if when wol and the others first went to sol9, if the other people walking around thought they were from the outskirts or if they thought they were all cosplayers or something

Eirlys🍎 @muguetdrop.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

i actually dont mind the DT vocal theme, i think it fits the coronation scene well, but the fact that they pulled it out not even an hour later for the train scene was a little much i think

100

Eirlys🍎 @muguetdrop.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

the short story is kinda funny too cuz obviously the majority of characters in game are made from the creator, so regardless of how canonically attractive they would Actually be 'irl' they all look at least relatively 'attractive', but the story Multiple Times says erenville is genuinely Beautiful

i'm going to be honest but out of all the antagonists zoraal ja to me undoubtedly is like the biggest loser of them all

000

Eirlys🍎 @muguetdrop.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

reading the one hunting festival short story again and honestly it's kinda funny as fuck they just straight up use zoraal ja's regular model in the picture for it when he's stated to be 13 then

000

Eirlys🍎 @muguetdrop.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

i like the way they introduce the train group in DT as shards of the ShB trolley gang cuz you meet shenza first so you might not immediately clock it, he kinda just comes off as a nondescript midlander guy with blonde hair and green eyes and kinda not much else going on

000

Eirlys🍎 @muguetdrop.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

tbh i feel like the alisaie + alphinaud inclusion into DT can be summed up by the cutscene where wuk lamat is doubting herself and needs direction and support and alphinaud says 1 line as the very last line at the end and alisaie says literally Nothing at all
