You don't seem to understand that if she was 18 in 2000 (she was. If you believe her birth year was 81, she already was. If it was 82, she turned in Oct), she WOULDN'T NEED to apply for "derivative citizenship" (which she obtained in 94), she could have (and did) apply for citizenship on her own.

The only substantial "question" is whether her late father was indeed a citizen in '94. But she WAS granted citizenship on her own on her 18th (19th?) birthday. But that wouldn't be a crime of her doing. Nor would it justify a pre-dawn no-knock raid of her home 26 years later.

As already noted, she was indeed 17 in 2000. Her birthday wasn't until October. She didn't claim to be 18 at the time of application. She put down her birth month as October. But if you believe she was born in '81 vs '82, then she would have already 18 in 2000. An earlier year only HELPS her case.

She received dependent citizenship in 1994 as a child to her father. If born in '81, she was 13. If born in '82, she was 12. A years difference wouldn't have mattered. There was no reason to lie. The birth year on the MN website was a typo. Other sites claiming '81 are all citing the same typo.

Something you have yet to explain: If all this relies on whether or not HER (late) FATHER was a citizen in 1994, why the raid on HER home... 26 years later (her personal citizenship application in 2000) just 22 days before an election? Judge Matthew Sharbaugh didn't order the warrant himself.

No it doesn't "contradict how #Omar says she obtained citizenship". Receiving "naturalization" via her father in '94 didn't confer her with "citizenship". She applied for and obtained that on her own in 2000. And the fact the judge claims to be a Democrat doesn't mean the accusations have merit.
