Like, be like Andy Beshear or Roy Cooper, who win elections in swing states all the time and never balk on trans rights. The other part of me thinks "but what if me not voting is why the way worse republican won?" I'm fortunate to be in a super blue state where I don't have to make that call. END/

I am fortunate that I don't live in a place where I have to vote for any candidates that have thrown anyone under the bus. But I have thought about what I would do if I lived in Iowa, for example. On one hand, if I were faced with choosing between a dem who opposed trans kids playing sports and a republican who wants to totally ban gender affirming care, I think about voting for neither so as not to reward any appeasement. But then I think I'd be helping the *worse* candidate.

For Amy, I'm looking for a source that she supports banning trans care for minors. RE Turek, his track record on trans rights is pretty bad. I will say the republicans running against him and Sand are more dangerous to my family. It will be one or the other. I'm not sure what I would do. 1/
