If you look closely you'll see your shipping intermediary is offering you a larger discount on the heavier package and the base price scales as expected, not to say that they're not totally incompetent but that is a fairly standard discounting weirdnes, where x price gets you y discount.

Finally switched out the body on my Skutt kiln, had to shave down a custom sleeve to adapt the kiln sitter hole for the thermocouple and put new connectors on the wires.
