My interests are a little more niche than most, and I don't care for some of the more common hyperfixations. If all my interactions with someone are half about a shared kink that I love and half about something completely uninteresting to me, of course I'm gonna lose interest.

I do sometimes wonder what the fuck I'm doing here. I really about diapers. They're an immutable pay off myself and have led me to my husband and good friends. I can't truly be myself if I can't express my crinkly side. But they're not everything. I need other facets too.

I have a lot, and I try not to take it for granted. I have a great relationship that only improves with time. My job is killing me in some regards but gives me a higher quality of life and will give me room to maneuver when I'm done with it. I'm not nearly as worried about money anymore.

I'm confident in my worth. In many facets of my life I'm extremely competent. I'm good at what I do and getting better. Of course I have weaknesses. I mumble, speak before thinking sometimes, struggle with transition times, and need to be more firm about my boundaries. I gotta learn to cook.

This may be a hot take, but body odor in public spaces should be treated with the same stigma as messing your diaper for non-medical reasons in public. If you can smell yourself a little, others can smell you a lot. If someone tell you that you smell bad, make different choices before going out.

This is one of the reasons I've resisted making my non-kink related posts a separate account with this as my AD. I'm not in the fandom to compartmentalize my identity like I do in the rest of my life. I want one place where I can be my whole self even if most only interact with kink stuff I post.

My advice to younger ABDLs: Dont be someones “secret friend”just because you may be comfortable about your kink & they may not be. If they cant interact with you in a public forum (like bsky) you’re wasting your time. Theyre bothered about their appearance over treating you like a friend
