MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Somehow I missed this?? I don't have anything complete drawn so have a lost soul beast form wip #Garo #牙狼 162
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 21/08/2026Feels weird to work on this after so long but it's looking good! Even if I can't remember how I rendered reflective metal but what's drawing if not a lot of improvising as you go? #牙狼 #Garo 053
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Tried a parallel pen i bought recently. Used it as an excuse to try drawing some ocs again (plus an ultraman) 071
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Anyone remember a dip pen that looked like this? Remember seeing it back when twitter wasn't crap and meant to grab one but can't find the guy that made them anymore. It was just plain metal. Brass or copper maybe? 110
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 13/08/2026Wips of a commission I'm working on for @knightnoir.etheirys.social to show I'm still alive and drawing! Dan do big punch! #commission #ffxiv 052
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 19/03/2026Hi! I'm nonbinary transmasc and I draw a lot of tokusatsu and game stuff! 1123
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 27/12/2025Show me what you can do with just a pen! (Mostly gel pen with a bit of fineliner for smallest details and maybe some brush pen in a couple, I don't remember 😅) 0175
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 13/12/2025A friend convinced me to get around to playing Warframe and I unintentionally turned my frame into One-Winged Ultraman Omega. Really fun so far. I want to make more tokusatsu themed frames once i've unlocked more. 0110
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 04/12/2025The textures on Horrors are so fun the draw 0205
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 27/11/2025Doodled Diabolos as an Ultra and I love how well his design actually fits one. His design already reminds me a bit of Belial so makes sense I think #FinalFantasyXIV #Ultraman #ウルトラマン 0208
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 27/11/2025Slow but coming along. Finding detail references for this specific form for this version of Garo is harder than finding them for other knights like Zero or Zango 072
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 03/11/2025Didn't get the time to finish this by halloween but that's ok. All time is Garo time 082
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 30/10/2025Don't know how much sense the pencil marks make at this stage but trying to get an idea of what forms/shapes are where before i go in with ink 071
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 06/10/2025Unsure which to try to finish next. Both fit spooky month pretty well. Gamera vs Legion or Garo? 160
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 04/09/2025Might add some sort of colour or gray later but for now the ink is done! #Gamera #ガメラ #Gyaos #ギャオス 22310
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 14/08/2025So much hatching for this part. I like the way the blood stands out from it though. #Gamera #ガメラ #Gyaos #ギャオス 0131
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 08/08/2025Forever waiting for any of these... Solatorobo in particular because it's such a little known gem of a game with an incredible story. Okamiden I'll wait and see how Okami sequel goes. Muramasa because other vanillaware games got ported except this one and I wanna see it on new platforms! 000
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 07/08/2025Starting to remind me a bit of an old movie poster 1122
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 07/08/2025Shuwatch!! Ultraman vs Chandlar! シュワッチ！！ウルトラマン対チャンドラー！ #Ultraman #ウルトラマン #Chandlar #チャンドラー 1207
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 04/08/2025This feels both the same and somehow different from my inking style and I'm not sure why #Ultraman #ウルトラマン 1112
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 04/08/2025I wasn't going to do so detailed! But he looks so cool... I always do this 🫠 030
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 03/08/2025Zettorah, Calamitous fusion ゼットラはいい名前ですか 😅 Is Zettorah a good name? #Zetton #ゼットン #Ghidorah #ギドラ 0126
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 02/08/2025Starting to pop out more with added contrast 120
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 28/07/2025Picked away at it a bit. Imagining it's a bit like a middle form that could change one way or another depending on which side dominates more 100
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 25/07/2025More late night Zettorah sketching. This thing keeps crawling back into my brain 161
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 25/07/2025Sometimes I draw them together though they don't really have a story 073
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 25/07/2025As far as kaiju go they don't make much noise and are a bit anxious/nervous sometimes. Otherwise very curious and excitable. 162
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 25/07/2025I draw them a lot. They vary quite a bit between cute and silly or creepy 122
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 25/07/2025My kaiju character loosely based somewhere between Junior, Kamata kun and a childhood dragon toy 132
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 25/07/2025Thought I'd share some of my characters in a thread starting with this guy. Never been able to think of names but very tokusatsu monster inspired. 1105
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 17/07/2025About time I drew an Ultraman card #Ultraman #ウルトラマン 1143
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 14/07/2025This one didn't sell but i had fun drawing it. Maybe I'll sell it next year. 051
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Was exhausted and a bit overwhelmed but PCAF was really fun! Thank you to everyone that came to say hi and buy some stuff! Here's some original cards I drew and sold at the table. 191
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 11/07/2025Hey everyone in Perth! I'll be at PCAF this Sunday with my first ever printed comic!! I'll also have cat stickers and a few prints including Gyaos and FFXIV Ifrit! You can find me at F27 with the Ultraman Zero cape/mantle 🤗 (Ps. I may also be doodling a few things on cards if ppl like originals) 023
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 09/07/2025Third! Probably one more for the darkest parts and I can call it done. #Garo #牙狼 030
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 28/06/2025Second pass! Not too much difference yet. #Garo #牙狼 042
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 27/06/2025First pass of markers on another Garo card #Garo #牙狼 031
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 20/06/2025Every time I see Zero's Beyond form, I think of Zeromus... I want to draw something based on them at some point but not sure what. 040
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 26/05/2025Many possible ways to combine their designs. Making it tricky to settle on one so far. 050
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 26/05/2025Tried something based on "what if someone tried to make a Zetton from a Ghidorah?" Pretty gross but fun. The multiple limbs remind me of Iris so might try mixing some inspiration from that in the next one 150
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 17/05/2025"Why.. did you save me?" Quick thought I wanted to scribble down 020
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 17/05/2025Drawing on the last page of current sketchbook. Found this Ultra design in one of the first couple pages (left) so decided to try drawing it again (right) Not rly sure on markings so just left it as it is. Blazar gave me such a love for scarred/asymmetrical looking Ultras. 1105
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 05/05/2025Starting to look more like an eel as the jaw is rendered in 082
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 05/05/2025Another weird eel starting to take shape. A lot of work but its relaxing. Been watching lots of deep sea ROV videos for inspiration 051
MuddyLane Designs @muddylaneart.bsky.social · 20/04/2025Wasn't expecting to get that done in under an hour. Still have 2 faces to go but main Manda is done! 2115
