Bleed. The artist thought to portray a sense of “transformation” with his weapon, combining elements of blood and petals. —by NakedWolf_art 🫀

The image depicts a dragon holding a blade. The weapon features a prominent skull with glowing red eyes at the hilt, and its edge dissolves upward into a floating stream of blood and petals. The figure is covered in pale silver scales, contrasted by a solid red that blankets his snout, brow, and horns. This red coloration splits as it moves down his body, turning into sharp, irregular slashes and streak patterns across his neck, shoulder, arms, legs, and sides. At his shoulders are wicked shapes. They rest, carved with delicate detail, as horned heads flick their serpent tongues. At his belt are chains. These dull, silver shackles, crowned by wedge-like prongs, hang from a spiked crystal heart. His eyes are pure red, gazing to the side, and his expression is stoic, yet wistful.

Mud. Whether produced from his body or found among the earth, it grounds him. This one just happens to be rather swimmable! —thanks @shanikafaceless.bsky.social 👉🏾👈🏾

The image depicts a dragon nearly submerged in a body of mud. He's covered in it, with bubbles forming atop the surface. His spikes lead down into a trail behind him, and his ivory, slit-pupil eye has a red 'blush' at each corner. This one is smiling—the little grin peeking out from the muck.

Tension. Just what do we have here? —thanks @hurrakka.bsky.social, featuring Scorn's Zharkhan and my muddy Shivrust.

Two dragons. One has his tongue out, smiling. The other looks angry. Both are watching the viewer (you).

Up for Grabs —thanks @daryabler.bsky.social 🤎

The image depicts a large, brown, muscular dragon suspended in the air. His wings are spread and behind him is a leafless, tree-filled forest. The time of day is dusk, with sunset bleeding through. This dragon is coated in goopy, wet mud, as it's coming off him in copious amounts. In a rapid, heavy motion, the dragon appears to be grabbing one human by the back of his shirt. The dragon uses his right, spiked arm. The target has head and facial hair. He's carrying a blade. Additionally, the man spilled crystals of blue and purple variety. The second human is bald. He was kicked in the face by the dragon's left, taloned foot, with wet mud bridging between. The dragon is unarmed, wearing only his leather torso strap, with its rusty belt buckle. A pair of dirty, decaying leaves covers his groin, and the dragon himself is grinning eagerly. Below is a bandaged humanoid character. Only his head is visible. He's missing one eye and is looking up. The large, muddy dragon is directly above everyone.

By Sunset, under the Orange Sky —thanks @shamerli.bsky.social 💪🏾

The image depicts a muscular, brown-scaled dragon with a menacing smile on his face. He's looming—supporting himself between two dim, metal-like walls. They form an open plane by the strength of his legs. Supporting this posture is his right arm. In his left rests a ragged, rusted blade. Dirt covers this brown, muddy dragon, from his coarse body to the very leaves over his groin. He isn't clean. His wings hang low as he slouches, watching someone or something in the distance. Below him is a bright green light, adding definition to his elevation. And past him is a fading sunset, cast under an orange-red sky. Just above his spiked head hangs a tattered cloth. It looks to be a deep, dull maroon. Still, he wears a leather, polyester-like strap around his torso, with a metal, rusty belt buckle holding it together. At each taloned foot and his right palm, splotches of mud smear on the metal-like walls. This dirty dragon looks keenly focused, with darkened circles beneath his eyes and subtle reds at their corners.

He's dirty. —another past illustration of Shiv by @shanikafaceless.bsky.social 🍂

The image depicts a brown, spiked dragon character lounging in a coating of soil. It covers him from the top of his short-horned head to the ends of his taloned feet. He appears content with this, his darkened eyes shut peacefully, with his body relaxed and leaned back. Is he resting?

Sharing is caring, no? —something from a month ago, featuring the artist's OC, Harmony, and my dragon, Shiv. Thanks @shanikafaceless.bsky.social 🫶🏾

This is the moment where a dragon shoves someone's face into his muddy chest. The dragon appears to oblige, smiling eagerly, while the recipient is unprepared, their shoulders raised in immediate reaction.

The figure is now stunned, consequently stained with mud across their face and upper body. They appear tense and hunched over, their one eye open and staring at the ground, with clawed hands rigid in discomfort.

The figure has regained some composure. It's enough to just stand there, their arms extended. With palms turned upward, their gesture begs the silent question... "Why?" As if any of that were necessary (yes). Or "Really?" As a query into the sheer audacity of the act itself (also, yes).

His natural coloring is more of a dull, almost pale-blue silver. However, he can also appear warmer, as the quoted image suggests. The how of it is related to certain dietary requirements.
