finally have a chance to deep clean the #mk4gti and naturally I started with the driver's position the carpet got a good deep cleaning and when it was dry in when the first of the husky liners, that I like better than the weathertech in the #mk5rabbit because it fully covers the dead pedal

the driver's side of a mark 4 gti; it has been freshly cleaned and looks quite good for a 20-year-old vehicle :3

set up an nfs share and got vnc working on volcapal, I think all that's left is gui and testing still waiting for a last cable (micro to micro usb) but mechcables has been slow, although the cable I have gotten from them is mint #eurorack #modular

yay :3 there's a gui I want to install and the cable I need hasn't arrived yet but this is how I'll be getting samples on and off the #volca sample 2 I've integrated into the #modular, the way you do it out of the box is atrocious github.com/00nktk/volsa2

hey o'reilly's, why would you let someone order from your website and send them a 'your order is ready' email if they're just going to be told 'we don't have it but I can order it for you'? like I want to fight through another 20 minutes of rush hour there and back traffic again tomorrow? ffs >:3

my unasked for take on this is that it seems to point to forces outside rather than inside the #trans community when in the end it's both there's filtering by appearance, income, etc. like any other group of people often masked by toxic positivity and the ones pushed out are going to gather

a screenshot of a post by @tortorororo that reads 'watching a trans woman slowly fall into doomer spaces as she loses that starting transition hope she had and realizes how far she is from actually being perceived as a woman gotta be one of the bleakest things to witness'

sunday was wire wheel and rust converting primer, today was a couple of coats of paint, and I suppose clear on thursday so I can hopefully finish this weekend I was guided to the new tavarish video about his gallardo rebuild and saw it has the same odometer as the #mk5rabbit

the odometer of a lamborghini gallardo showing 0.0 miles and the word SAFE, which means the immobilizer has kicked in

the #mk4gti is leaking and I have started making the #mk5rabbit more waterproof so it can be taken through a car wash without filling the spare tire well with soapy water, I'd like to daily it so far I've I covered the antenna, removed the old hatch seal, and addressed the minor rust under it

if you've worked on cars long enough you know that something always, always goes awry (which is why having two is nice) soon, possibly this weekend, I am going to replace the coil pack harness in the #mk4gti and despite the thorough directions I may be a little nervous :3c

cw: I'm bringing the bulge back :3c I felt like that last one was a little rushed and the hair was a bit too gray but I hope to have corrected both of these things I also hope I turned up the gremlin a touch, I have been embracing that lately #secondlife #slfurry #furry #smoking #pantybulge

an anthropomorphic black and white pretty kitty in her underwear is gesturing with a lit cigarette as if making a point to the viewer

I have returned from my trip :3 I managed to get the 034 catch can installed, a half-assed power steering flush, and an oil swap the battery box is cracked and I think it got wet under there because for two days the rad fans were weird and the ac didn't work (thank fuck that came back) #mk4gti

it didn't take long but it turns out oetiker clamps have to be cut off and there were quite a few of them >:3 the catch can kit I'm putting in has spare hose clamps, which are more convenient but feel less classy, but also match previously replaced clamps :3c

ok not to say the dealership I bought the #mk4gti did me dirty but I keep finding things I want to swap to the 2.0 coils but those are already installed, only with nothing to hold them in I am glad the kit I bought includes new hardware because that's gone, I'm surprised I didn't pop a coil >:3
