[ hes so full of information and mettaton is just there to soak it all in ! gently clapping hands together as a show of interest . ] next item , of course . what is this one darling ? something far more interesting ?

[ sitting up a bit more , extending a hand to lightly poke against the cord of the headphone . snort . ] ohh ? they must be quite advanced . how did you get your hands on such interesting things ?

[ a gentle clap is given no matter , mettaton pleased at the attempt to demonstrate . ] it looks quite lovely , and you look very nice holding it . perhaps one day you will learn . what else do you have in there darling ?

[ sitting up and nodding , gaze flickering across what could be see already . ] of course ! im excited , thrilled . practically shaking in my boots to see what you have !

[ very humble , sitting on the / floor / . more on knees actually , legs tucked underneath self . hands resting on thighs . watching as he rummages through the closet . . good for him ! ]

how sweet . [ entering the room , while passing through giving papyrus a gentle pat against the chest . a simple thanks and affection . ]

[ the pun was certainly enough to make the bot chuckle again , a hand coming up to cover the smiling face . ] ohohoh . . how cute . no need to apologize . im sure your brother has wonderful qualities . what were we doing then , darling ? your room ?

no need to fuss while im here 💧

[ when papyrus stops , mettaton kept moving - bumping into the skeleton with a soft ‘ thump ‘ . composing self and laughing it off . ] darling you seem to have stopped — [ squint . why is he looking at a sock like that ? . . well , now mettaton stares at it . ] hm ?

of course darling ! would i say it without meaning it ? [ holding in a very struggling ‘ aw ‘ at the sight of him . ]

[ nodding , quite attentive to all the information shared with him . taking it all in , actually . will remember this . ] ill come by as often as you want ! its so nice and cozy here , you might have trouble keeping me away . [ humming laughter . ]

take your lovely brothers pet rock on a walk ? that sounds very fun , i would love to do that with you one day darling . ill put it on my calendar . of course , with your brother giving me permission to join . [ giggling . straightening up and patting hands off on thighs . ]

oh my . . . what a gluttonous pet . [ cracking a wider smile , bending a bit to squint at the pet rock covered in sprinkles . a single nod of acknowledgement . ]

oh ? thats a shame theres rarely anything fun between . [ giving a glance down at the cushions , maybe a little interested . but alas , no peeks . hands on thighs , looking towards papyrus . ] what would you like to show me next darling ?

[ oo more permission to explore gives mettaton some more snooping energy . . casually entering further into the home , but the bot seems interested in sitting on a couch . ]

oh of course darling , of course . [ only a little more snooping happens before mettaton returns to his side , hands resting on hips with a little sassy stance . ] we can go there now , i cant / wait / to see what you have . ✨
