Probably would be very difficult to differentiate. Near Infrared would probably be the best case, but there would be alot of interference trying to quantify the CH bonds and OH bonds in ethanol amongst the water, carbs and proteins.

The one time i tried to use w3w to get an ambulance to someone injured off road, the call handler didn't know what it was. Ended up managing to explain over the phone but I thought that was supposed to be the main benefit of w3w
