Yesterday morning, MNHCer, Allison, spotted this Alligator Lizard while she was hiking Woods Gulch. Second photo is from iNaturalist, documenting this species’ range. Fun fact: Alligator Lizards don’t lay eggs — they can give birth to up to 15 live independent young at a time. #montanawildlife
