The latest Commander Bracket changes just dropped. Good direction or bad call? Has the system changed how you play since it launched? Is the Commander panel getting it right? I’m making a video on this, would love your honest takes

October 2025 Secret Lair Superdrop review is live. I went through every drop (The Office, Furby, JAWS, Iron Maiden and more) to figure out which ones are deals and which ones you should skip. Honest value breakdown for Commander players who actually care about their wallet.

Theres a NEW MECHANIC! And it's kinda fun! VOID, in which the spell costs 2 less is a nonland permanent left the battlefield this turn OR a spell was “WARPED” Whats warping in MTG? We will have to wait and see! It can also be cost reduced from a treasure token being sacrificed!

The split second ability seems really strong!

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 28/06/2025

Giving split second as an ability... Fringe cEDH? Or nah?

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

If you could give one piece of advice to your past self when starting social media around magic the gathering, what would it be!?

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

I can't work out if the cards in this set are OP or not... I wonder how easy it is to increase your speed!

130

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 19/01/2025

010

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

That's insane congratulations! I still get blown away that 8,000 people are interested enough to follow me on Instagram! Can't imagine how surreal 100k feels! But I can say it's well deserved!!!

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

I think product fatigue won't be as bad this year I'm being hopeful! But also I've looked at innistrad remastered as a supplemental set, they're all reprints in a way which is great for the secondary market etc, but there's I'd also argue there's not as much "pull" as previous remastered sets

000

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

They always do it better in the US compared to the UK 😭

000

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

Thanks!! I think because my faceless content has all the bells and whistles in terms of editing / things moving I put just as much pressure on the face content and it feels forced! I agree it's way more engaging to see a person instead!

110

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

What's you're most recent happy experience with Magic the Gathering?

000

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

That's so cool! Can't wait!!

010

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

Being on camera is my biggest struggle! My faceless content does much better but I want to be on camera more!

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

It's too late prof! SpongeBob secret lair super drop is what everyone's talking about now!

000

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

I'm under the firm belief that no commander deck *NEEDS* of duals, yes they're great but there's loads of other options now no deck should feel incomplete if there is a 500$+ card missing

000

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

They're not already?!? How is that possible!

010

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 15/01/2025

"Universes beyond" is ruining magic although as a talking point even the videos are getting tired. I wouldn't watch or engage in that topic. Obviously if the cards are broken in the UB release that's a different talking point Universes beyond seems to be here to stay

010

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

Sooo! I guess it's time for me to get into modern right?

010

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

So, I have a new year's resolution to make weekly MTG YouTube videos! I'm thinking, News, deck techs and reviews, what would you lot want to see from me?!

000

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

What's your unpopular opinion in a game of commander?

000

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

I mean, I'm not young anymore :( but I hope there still etiquette with this. But clearly not

000

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

I heard people who play Magic the Gathering are extremely attractive and funny!

020

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

So, what's everyone trying to make room for in their decks?

010

MTGVersus @mtgversus.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Yes. Sheoldred, she old ... Red
