Finally, they’ve arrived. @pubgob.bsky.social continues to put out some of the most fascinating and aesthetically diverse tarot decks out there. @oddoblivion.bsky.social ‘s art continues to be brutal, beautiful, grotesque, and stunning.

Two magnetic lid rectangular boxes containing tarot decks on a bed with wrinkled mint green bamboo sheets. The first box, on the left, contains “Blood & Rust: The Misery Tarot” with macabre and beautifully grotesque art by Enoch.

The second box, on the right, is the atomic age plutonium factory town inspired “The Hot Housewives Tarot Deck”.

Random Game Saturday: Sakura Wars (2019)! Missed using the PS4 controller, so I plugged in my purple controller that I acquired shortly before the PS5 came out. I prefer the slimmer controller builds for the PS4 and prior generations over the PS5 controller.

Physical disc case for Sakura Wars (2019) on the PS4. Next to the case is a purple PS4 controller that is lit up with the blue light. The controller is plugged in to charge, and the cord trails out of the frame.

I used the same color pairing back at my old apartment omg. Now that I’m back home I’m rocking a green and purple combo (my Medusa lamps have settings that allow me to switch between three different light modes, so I usually throw in a white bulb in case I need to see things more accurately).

A somewhat dusty Medusa lamp with one white, two green, and two purple bulbs lights up a dark blue wall next to a shelf. Atop the shelf sits a number of manga volumes, as well as a few plushies from various video game franchises (Gardevoir, Froslass, Xatu, Spinarak, Boo, Aerith, Tifa, and Ultros).

Thank you for this wonderful gift. The rest of my day is now dedicated to making I Think You Should Leave memes.

Edited screenshot of Carmageddon featuring a mustachioed WW1 esque pilot in a futuristic metal framed message prompt that states “You’ve Been Challenged!”. The message gives the prompts to either ACCEPT or CHICKEN. In between the prompts is the word DARE. The body of the message is a quote from an “I Think You Should Leave” sketch: “No, I don’t know how to fucking drive. I don’t know what any of this shit is and I’m fucking scared.”

Edited screenshot of Minnesota Fats: Pool Legend featuring the fictional pool hustler Minnesota Fats facing the viewer. He wears a white polo shirt with mint green collars and mint green accent lines on the edges of the sleeves. Fats has pushed back (not slicked back) blond hair, so you know he isn’t a piece of shit.

Fats stands in a dimly lit room holding a pool stick in one hand, while the other is held in a “whaddya mean” semi open palm up pose. Behind him are two lights. One accent light to his left, the other illuminating a framed portrait of a man in a suit and hat (presumably also Minnesota Fats).

Below Fats is a large blue text field that contains text from an “I Think You Should Leave” sketch: “But… do any of these… fuckers… ever blast out of the wall… and have, like, a huge cum shot?”

Bed rotting is the best when you have a pumpkin mushroom plushie

Selfie of Mona bed rotting. They lay back with their head against a pillow in a silver satin case. Most of their body and face is covered by a purple “marble” pattern comforter. The upper half of their face above the nose is visible. As is their long, wavy, dark brown hair that flows over the comforter. Above Mona’s pillow propped against the dark sea grey wall is a Jack O’ Lantern themed mushroom plushie.

Card text effect reads: Select an enemy follower on the field and give it -3/-3

Screengrabs from Delicious in Dungeon in a top-bottom format. The top panel features Laios, a human blonde himbo knight in silver armor storming into a room to announce “They let me milk a Minotaur!”

The bottom panel features Chilchuck, a beleaguered half-foot with short and messy light brown hair who wears a dark brown cloak with a white undershirt and a green scarf. The sleeves of the shirt are rolled up to just before the elbows. Chilchuck sits at a table drinking beer for a metal cup with a comically strained “pleased” face with his eyelids shut. One arm rests on a wooden table, while the other has the cup of beer raised to his face (which partial obscures his face so only his shut eyes are visible. A wooden keg is visible in the background.

Chilchuck responds to Laios: “Hey, good for you. Keep that to yourself next time”.

First win on Balatro! Came real close last night using the Green deck, but ultimately the Blue deck is what secured victory.

Well, this is exciting! Elfriede Jelinek’s “The Children of the Dead” is receiving a first ever English translation from Gita Honegger. Described as being a mixture of “…experimental theater, splatter film, Gothic literature, philosophy, religion, and more”, it is often considered her magnum opus.

The cover for the 2024 English release of “The Children of the Dead” by Elfriede Jelinek (translated from the German by Gitta Honegger). The cover art shows a burned and distorted film photograph with what appears to be a short haired person barely discernible amongst the damaged film. The cover notes that the author won the Nobel Prize in Literature (prize was won in 2004).

Oh damn, Kristin Hayter (of Lingua Ignota fame) has a new album.

Album art for Kristin Hayter’s new album, SAVED! (as Reverend Kristin Michael Hayter). Cover shows an old photograph of what appears to be a woman in a blood stained dress in front of some sort of flower display and a dingy wooden interior. In one hand she holds an open copy of what are presumably scriptures, and in the other she makes some sort of evocative hand gesture. She is turned away from the camera, her hair blocking her face from view.

The true “Fear & Hunger 2” experience. Cruel and fucked up gaming at its finest.

Messenger exchange that reads:

“How goes Fear & Hunger 2?”

“It’s going well. I told a man the food he served looked like a cock and he murdered me. 10/10.”

“I said the same thing and he didn’t kill me!”

Messenger background is the dark mode version of the Lo-Fi cityscape with neon pastels and a cat that sits atop a tall building looking up at the stars.
