Today, that spirit of transformation continues. Following the Museum’s recent renovation, we’re building on our long history while creating new spaces for interdisciplinary learning, immersive experiences, and hands-on exploration across the arts, sciences, cultures, and technologies.

#TBT to a moment of transformation at the MSU Museum. This historic photo captures construction of Habitat Hall inside the Museum decades ago, a reminder that museums are always evolving to support new ideas, new research, and new ways for people to connect with the world around them.
A photo from the past showing large wooden scaffolding going up in a huge room with an arched ceiling. A man stands by the wooden structure, which is at least three times as tall as him. Wood and construction materials lay scattered around.
