lmao
An excerpt of "Intergalactic Laserbeam Blues" for unaccompanied Baritone Saxophone by Joshua Haugen. It features a very complex series of nested tuplet rhythms with the note "complain about the rhythm and I'll add another tuplet" right above it.

I don't think I've ever seen a less appealing start to a job description than this
A screenshot of a job listing. The position is "Founding Engineer at Peerless". The opening sentence reads "Peerless is the Palantir of marketing."

A snapshot of a three.js rendering of the solar system. The sun is a smooth white sphere, and Earth is visible in the foreground. Other planets like Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury are also visible in the background, along with rings showing their orbital paths.

Love when I have to manually edit generated emscripten bindings to get something working. fairy-stockfish.wasm + Threlte + WebXR
A screenshot of a Chrome window with the devtools panel open. In the main window is a 3D chessboard rendered by Svelte and three.js. The devtools panel shows the latest console messages, which themselves are output from Fairy Stockfish. The final log is a hard-earned "uciok"

These banners can get pretty annoying at times but props to this one for actually telling me just how many cookies I'm opting out of

Saw an incredible image today and need to share it
An image of Hideo Kojima in 1990 holding a laptop with Eraserhead playing on it. The image has a strong 90s aesthetic.

Slightly blocked while I wait for someone from FMOD to answer my forum post but I've started experimenting with integrating FMOD into a WebXR experience! I wanna do the same with wwise but there's a lot of emscripten fuckery required that's beyond my ability at the current moment.

more fun with webxr in servo on windows. you would not believe (well, maybe some of you would) how long it took me to get this screenshot without something breaking or freezing
A screenshot taken from a Quest 2 with Virtual Desktop of a WebXR session running in Servo on a Windows 10 PC. The 3D scene depicts an abstract red/black environment in A-Frame with floating text that displays the User Agent as Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv: 109.0) Servo/1.0 Firefox/111.0 and lists the various WebXR APIs that are supported.

fun "i wonder if i could do that" project this weekend: getting servo to render webxr content with the openxr backend on windows. and it sorta works! I think the projection matrix or something is screwed up cause everything's close and clipping, but pretty neat regardless
A screenshot of VSCode showing some modifications made in order for the OpenXR loader to begin presentingA screenshot taken through Meta Quest Developer Hub showing WebXR content being rendered by Servo on the Quest 2 through Virtual Desktop
