My husband & I went to an indivisible meeting this past week. I have to say, being there gave me hope. A room w/ occupancy of 36 had far more than that, maybe 100 or so. Seeing we are not alone gives hope. We just have to unite and fight. Stay on your Reps. If yours is a D, stay on them to fight.

I feel bad I couldn't be out there at my local protest (health reasons). So instead, I bought a 'Box o'Joe' at Dunkin and had them put in hot chocolate (since not everyone drinks coffee) and dropped it off to them. I hope it helped. (It was 7°F, not counting wind chill.)

I'm struggling w/ something. My neighbor, retired, has custody of her 2 grandsons because, well reasons. She got custody of them at the end of last summer. She had contact with the boys throughout the years (touch and go at one point due to daughter's ex), but has had no contact w/daughter for 3 yrs

An executive order cannot supersede a statute. Congress has found ByteDance a danger to national security and SCOTUS has upheld it. Trump’s job as of noon tomorrow is to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed.” That means enforcing the ban until ByteDance sells TikTok.
