One mistake I see new freelance writers make is pitching editors through the wrong mediums. From LinkedIn DMs to Instagram DMs to personal emails to Facebook Messenger, this is a surefire way to lose your thoughtful pitches in the shuffle. Instead, look at the writer's guidelines.
