I am upset by the destruction and that is because your art describes it so well. Thank you.

More like laundry, loo, or having children you can't keep.... We should be very grateful shouldn't we?!

Even though I live in a very different place now, Hookland feels like something I knew in England, and I search for it in my newer home. Honestly I am grateful for your words in difficult times. Thank you for including us.

I ordered mine on Amazon France.... Arriving Wednesday, thank you for making such a lovely thing available to those of us in rural places in Europe!

Glorious. I wish I could capture in pen fast moving things like this.

I love the arcing lines in the bottom half continuing the curves of the beak and head... It looks like architectural structure almost.

Well it is non- traditionally impressive in the sense of the St Just or Montneuf ones, it just has an eerie presence, very compelling. The tics not so much though.... Hope you are well 👋

My favourite when in deep undergrowth, except for the insect life.... So filled with presence.

You are absolutely right with the words creeping dread... Feels like since 2016. It's sad.

I love this time of year in my bubble. Wish the rest of the world had some of this spring feeling....

Well I like the strong blue and yellow contrast. And the idea of eyes on left. In woods!! Bit scary but so is life at the moment so you are reflecting reality there...

Pain does break you, I am so sorry. Force it, ride the wave to your best place of peace in Hookland, every second there is a win, being fiercely you.

It is a perfect title for this. I always feel I have to stop and look at your art, it is like a piece of music hitting my brain. Thank you.

Yes, there are lots of places in towns that are large like the one in your picture still in existence, and small ones that just look like a stone or slate edge pond now in front of small manoirs or large farm complexes.

If that was a manoir here in Brittany it would have been a washing pool, lavoir, or more rarely a fish stock larder.

Yes, my mum called them that and said she ate them in a sandwich just after the war. We had some yesterday, and they taste like green, so I suppose it all depends on comparison with what you have!

An evening walk, then the moon over an old Perry pear in my garden. I am very lucky.
Twighlight field with wood margins, a clear sky with glowing sunsetLavender sky behind white pear blossom reflecting the colour of the moon above.

Yes, I used to love moo cards for that, the random way of looking at work you had done. And a website....life moves on despite us doesn't it?

My bit of Morbihan this morning.
A grey, white and green frosty misty landscape, looking over a ploughed field just sprouting, a large tree visible in winter glory.

Of course, as the crash of the shelves dominoing down in the night is quite upsetting.🤪
