I personally remember it by “the transformation only applies to the x“. So translate then stretch gives f(x) -> f(x+2) -> f(3x+2) Whereas stretch then translate gives f(x) -> f(3x) -> f(3(x+2)), which is f(3x+6)

I’ve used the Ofqual analytics tool to separate out the A level Maths distributions for those who also take A level Further Maths and those who don’t. For the latter, the distribution looks similar to that for Chemistry A level.
