#NHPIWomensEqualPayDay recognizes the significant and persistent pay disparity between Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander women and their white male counterparts. The Trump administration has made it more difficult to break down wage gaps by ethnicity—making them harder to address.

Gloria was a feminist icon, a friend to many, and a perpetual optimist. In the face of what can feel like insurmountable challenges, Gloria kept hope. Her work isn't over, and neither is ours.

#WomensEqualityDay marks the adoption of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing the right to vote regardless of sex. Racist legislation continued to disenfranchise voters of color, particularly women, for decades. To this day, voter suppression silences voices. Remembering the words of Coretta Scott King.
