Trujillo e Chiclayo, onde o novo Papa trabalhou, ficam um pouco distante da Amazônia peruana. Mas imagino que algo ou muito ele conheceu, aprendeu ou refletiu sobre Amazônia, crise climática, povos indígenas, ainda mais depois do Sínodo. Mas nunca se sabe, resta torcer, pois será um longo papado.
