The touching story of a traditionally attractive woman going back into her shell and becoming a pervert nerd with huge thick-rim glasses jerking off at her computer all day.

don't fuck with the magical frog of the forest bro he always does this shit

A drawing of an anthropomorphic mouse in water and a frog wearing clothes, as part of day 9's kinktober prompt "body swap." The effects and arrows indicate that the two characters have spontaneously swapped places, with the mouse being embarassed and the frog winking.

and you'd think they'd just stop at gwen herself being such an obvious stand-in for a survivor but it extends further into frankie and andi themselves, every interaction suddenly becomes this multi-layered chessboard where the lines between relationship and business is blurred and it fucking rules

i love how hard they dig into that anti-disney dystopia. it's not just using the visual language like claw machine arms or epcot domes or old cartoon paraphernalia but twisting it into something so grotesquely fascist. the dissonance between real and ideal is baked into the show on so many layers

knights of guinevere episode 2 is so insane to me cause now that we're past the set up we're getting into so much. it's not just the ways it depicts our current dystopian nightmare or the different dynamics between characters and their roles in gender and power but like. it feels fresh and new

the lore is pretty good too though it's just that it's the type of lore when you have to infer it through context and then draw 100 disproportionately detailed and emotional fanart of two people reaching and yearning for each other

nuclear throne to me is like a pure video game. not in terms of lore and touys but in terms of. whatever that feeling is when you're playing a video game and you're legit really good at it and are super in the zone. probably whatever people felt when they beat zelda 1 on the nes

tldr i don't like that the final story challenge legitimately takes like 2 hours every single run and it's killing my mood

000

Ms. Witchdog 💌🖊️🍎 [CHECK PINNED] @ms-witchdog.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

the game is asking me to go through the entire thing again with an entirely different loadout that isn't guaranteed to be as good as the last one and it's like. exhausting and it cheapens the reveal of the gunslinger in my opinion cause it's like. oh okay i fucked up the final lore drop

Ms. Witchdog 💌🖊️🍎 [CHECK PINNED] @ms-witchdog.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

maybe i'm too used to nuclear throne but the game is honestly really slow !!! the presentation gets tiring after like 5000 runs and all the references humor feels dated so it doesn't make up for how slow everything is honestly now that i think about it too why is gunslinger not a victory run

100

Ms. Witchdog 💌🖊️🍎 [CHECK PINNED] @ms-witchdog.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

of course i could just find the boss early and beat them to speed the process up but, the game is designed for you to go around and get money and drops and chests as much as you can so when i trip and lose to lich it's like oh okay that's an entire hour wasted. if i'm gunslinger then it's 2 hours

100

Ms. Witchdog 💌🖊️🍎 [CHECK PINNED] @ms-witchdog.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

that means the game places a lot of deliberate emphasis on learning bullet patterns and dodging, they reward you with extra health if you no-hit the first 5 bosses but dungeon crawling and getting items for your loadout means these sessions take like entire hours which is. tiring

Ms. Witchdog 💌🖊️🍎 [CHECK PINNED] @ms-witchdog.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

if it's for synergies that's okay but generally that means you're not doing a lot of ammo management you can get good with the starter pistol which is good for early levels and you'll have already gotten a bunch of guns by then so it's low stakes in regards to ammo and normally that's okay because

100

Ms. Witchdog 💌🖊️🍎 [CHECK PINNED] @ms-witchdog.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

guns take a relatively long time to chew through so if you've got a good run going you're kind of just going to have a bunch of them that you're probably not going to use you either have guns that clears rooms, guns that kill bosses, or just dogshit gimmicks

i'm losing motivation to beat gungeon cause in all honesty the game design is kind of annoying me as a game you're going through the first time its pretty really good but as a game to crack open and get good at just to complete that one ending i'm kind of starting to see the faults in it
