Trump: "SI! SI! SI! SI! SI! SI! SI!" Me: "Why does this feel familiar?
The front entrance to the Palazzo Braschi during the 1934 general election while under Italian fascist rule. (Rome, Italy, Unknown Author)

The National Fascist Party (PNF) was the only party legally allowed to run during that election. The word "SI" (Italian for "YES") was to remind Italian citizens what option they should select in the upcoming election. ("YES" to elect the PNF's members, "NO" for the PNF to try again.)

— — —

A black and white photo shows a multi-story building covered with the word "SI" written 132 times across three floors above a grand walk-in entrance. A sculpture of the PNF's dictator is centered between the words and framed to stare down at the large open space (Piazza Navona) below.

Multiple people are seen casually walking across the large open space in the foreground, going to-and-from the building and to other neighboring buildings. A large white statue is seen to the left with a man standing in front of it, while a black vehicle and a small group of people are seen to the right.

QOTD: Post a photo you took of a car next to water.
A Jeep parked next to a beach with downed trees from Hurricane Maria near Boqeurón, Puerto Rico. (2018)

At least I think this was near Boquerón. It was a full day of driving on our day off and I don't remember if this specific stop was near the city or during the drive to it. We made a lot of stops that day to see more of the island.

I took this shot after first going in the water normally and then realizing how neat it would be to get a photo from this angle. It was nerve-racking to take my (then) new camera out to sea for a few snaps, but thankfully it all ended well.

Heroes! Keep every document as a badge of honor. Imagine sharing these photos years from now and proving you fought against injustice. Just like Bernie Sanders with his Civil Rights protest arrest photo. Be proud of your resistance. Remain strong, everyone.

*Leonardo DiCaprio pointing meme* "To stay open in this new economy, Seattle restaurants have started to cater their experiences towards serving corporations rather than individuals." (Tetra: From the Many)
Tetra: From the Many

"Chapter 02 — Theodore

'SORRY TEDDY,' the man across the table shrugged, his face neutral. 'Our rate has changed.'

The unexpected and dismissive answer ignited a firestorm within Theodore’s chest. Fortunately, however, Theodore was able to contain his rage before giving his reply, his voice almost as cool as the morning breeze.

'Please do not call me Teddy,' Theodore corrected gently. His voice started off professionally before turning dark and firm. 'Also, we had an agreement,' he growled.

Both men sat atop a balcony overlooking the Puget Sound. The nightlife of Seattle — once bustling decades ago — was dead quiet. Occasionally you might see a late-night worker leaving their office, or perhaps some wandering homeless people, but otherwise the city was as silent as the body of water it overlooked.

To the south of Seattle stood a colossal black tower where Mr. Santiago reigned to watch over 'his' city (one of many he claims), his newest tower the latest flaunting of his ever-growing wealth.

(Highlight) To stay open in this new economy, Seattle restaurants have started to cater their experiences towards serving corporations rather than individuals. (End Highlight) Private balconies in Seattle quickly become the preferred meeting space for “sensitive” business transactions over the years. Outside of corporate espionage (typically facilitated by hidden audio recorders) most of these conversations died in the wind, unable to reach the streets below. They were (usually) safe.

Beside these two men sat a group of undercover corporate bodyguards in casual clothes, eating a meal and pretending not to listen in on their conversation. And prepared to react, Theodore presumed, depending on how I handle this news.

He did not like how this situation was going. Despite sitting in a comfortable chair, Theodore was agitated. His gun was missing from its holster; currently locked away in a safe near the..."

A trillionaire rules the world. The United States is collapsing. But a single man — an assassin — decides to risk it all by fighting back against the system. He now desires only the highest of prey: the rich. Do you dare to read more? (Free gift link!) archive.org/details/tetr... #booksky #books
"It ain’t much, but it’s a dishonest living.

Theodore R. Hudson is a corporate assassin: a killer by trade. And the man enjoys his work.

His contracts pay well, his benefits are generous, and his job shields him from the world dying around him. But when the corporate underworld suddenly experiences budget cuts — the killer suddenly finds himself out of the job! With decades of unresolved anger and murderous expertise combining, the assassin becomes unleashed after those he blames for destroying his world: billionaires.

Through careful planning, the hungry scavenger roams the Pacific Northwest in search of prey.

Through skillful redirection, society cares more about “Last Wills” rather than “Who Will” answer for these crimes.

Yet in these warming waters, other hunters are lying in wait. Second-rate private investigator Lourina Sanches — desperate to avoid bankruptcy — spots the trail of the predator. Nicknaming her killer “Piranha,” the investigator knows that catching this fish could allow her to escape from the financial net that entangles her… provided she can avoid falling into the deadly waters herself.

"Seth Meyers of NBC may be the least talented person to "perform" live in the history of television. In fact, he may be the WORST to perform, live or otherwise. I watched his show the other night for the first time in years. In it he talked endlessly about electric catapults on aircraft carriers which I complain about as not being as good as much less expensive steam catapults. On and on he went, a truly deranged lunatic. Why does NBC waste its time and money on a guy like this??? - NO TALENT, NO RATINGS, 100% ANTI TRUMP, WHICH IS PROBABLY ILLEGAL!!!"

dude seriously this is another thing from my book! I'm telling you, this is weird for me as a writer to finish the sequels. Lmao. Here's even an excerpt!
"The Auckland blockade installed a frenzy in the public. It provided governments and corporations with renewed interest in nationalism and capitalism, respectfully. In the United States, for example, a slogan was created: Remember the Puerto Rico! Apparently, the irony of this statement's usage in relation with the historical context of "Remember the Maine!" had failed to materialize within the public's consciousness - most likely due to neglected funding of history classes over the decades — as millions of Americans would happily chant the slogan without any sense of irony.

Media stations like FOMO News, of course, loved it.

While Theodore did not know whether this next part was true - because the news became increasingly censored following the activation of 47 U.S.C. § 606 as the incident went on — he
remembered reading how a conspiracy theory had grown within New Zealand about the Puerto Rico incident. Apparently, despite starting off as a joke, the conspiracy theory had become serious, believing that the whole incident was actually because of Australia! This did not make sense to Theodore, but it seemed to work on the island nation.

Still staring at the plaque before him, Theodore was grateful the submarine hadn't been named after, say, Texas. God only knows how crazy things might have gone then, he mused. Witnessing this rabid fever capture his country, all for a territory few could place on a map, had shocked the man. Suddenly people seemed to care about the island of Puerto Rico. Well, they pretended to at least."

The "Liberty" Hotel #photography #Boston #Massachusetts
The Liberty Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts, was originally the Charles Street Jail in 1851. After countless years of ownership changes, it finally turned into a massive hotel while still keeling its legacy and infrastructure.

It's a fantastic hotel to spend the night in -- I love the theme and history. Here is one of the hallways that connects the main lobby to their restaurant. What a unique experience!

A little extra history of the "Liberty":

"In 1973, after 120 years of housing some of Boston’s most notorious criminals, prisoners revolted because of poor living conditions and the jail was declared unfit and in violation of the inmates’ constitutional rights.

On Memorial Day weekend 1990, the last prisoners were moved to the new Suffolk County Jail.

In 1991, Massachusetts General Hospital acquired the obsolete property and sought proposals for its reuse, requiring that significant elements of the building be preserved.

In 2001, Carpenter & Company was designated the developer of the project, and entered into a lease agreement with MGH for the land and the jail itself."

Hey, just in case I die in this shitty coup, could someone take my independent research hypothesis and continue it? I don't care about citations or anything. My hypothesis is probably wrong. But I would have loved to study it, so I hope someone else does. #AcademicSky #Psychology #Sociology
Contemporary social psychology analyzes social constants and variables within either sociological or psychological environments; however, when utilizing an interdisciplinary perspective through formal systems theory, an approach for diagnosing societal disorders as pathogens becomes plausible.

Layered within multiple overlapping systems, each individual and group should be considered as their own system that is able to generate feedback and influence the other systems). With this interdisciplinary perspective, a pattern becomes recognizable whereby individuals with untreated and maladaptive mental disorders-and given positions of authority or social power--can propagate unstable societal constructs such as fascism, racism, sexism, and other negative societal feedback loops into other groups. These social infections expose healthy individuals to systemic stressors and trauma that replicate as a capsid for unstable negative societal feedback loops.

In essence, these constructs should be considered "social health disorders" due to their ability to operate similarly to public health issues in epidemiology, acting as a contagious social vector that replicates mental health disorders into healthy populations and individuals. Attempts to isolate either disorder--mental or social-from only the perspective of a single system will limit the effective treatment of the underlying disorder and the resulting pathology.

Further interdisciplinary research that combines all contemporary branches of science (i.e., formal: systems theory, natural: epidemiology, social: social psychology [sociology and psychology], etc.) will be required to identify how to analyze and diagnose the casual inference between mental disorders and social systems for effective diagnosis and treatment of affected populations.

Keywords: social health disorders, social psychology, mental disorders, public health, pathology, epidemiology, systems theory, fascism, sexism, racism

Also read the third paragraph: it needs to be 30 days notice AND proof (such as a specific case) as evidence to justify. The law was broken and therefore illegal and unenforceable.
