Okay, I get that e-readers are a thing, and given that Amazon left my favorite Kindle--it has a keyboard--for dead, recently (at least, they think they did, ha!) I do understand the inclination to stick it to them and look for alternatives, but why are e-readers going so tiny all of a sudden?!?

My birthday is coming up on Sunday, so I renewed my ID here in Michigan. It was always enhanced, but now, this is my first renewal since the real ID mandate. It has a little star in the corner. In today's climate, I can't help but be reminded of another star used as identification, to a fascist.

It sucks to have to go to the doctor just to get your refills, because it's been a while, and the doctor has to actually lay eyes on you. It's just refills, but because of your history, when you tell everyone you have a doctor's appointment, everyone freaks out all day, asking if you're okay
