An odd thing about #scifi #fandom is how backward-looking it is. Trek, Wars, Alien and Bladerunner are still huge. Conventions are full of people over 60 reminiscing about the fanzines of the 1970s and 80s. Where are the teenagers dreaming of the future? #startrek #starwars #alien
