Kevin Trickett MBE @mrtrickett.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Thank you to everyone who came to the Wakefield Civic Society event at WX Wakefield last night to hear me present the results of the Society's summer project 'Tell Us Your Favourite Things About Wakefield'. Kevin Trickett MBE @mrtrickett.bsky.social · 30/08/2026A legacy of using bus and train tickets as bookmarks when out and about is that you come across the occasional reminder of when you last read a particular book, as I did here. Cider With Rosie, last read in 1991 apparently. 000
Kevin Trickett MBE @mrtrickett.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Yes, it's a door. But it's relevant to an upcoming project by @wakefieldcivicsoc.bsky.social for #HeritageOpenDays 000

Kevin Trickett MBE @mrtrickett.bsky.social · 25/04/2026Spotted in Wakefield recently. Did a double take. Pleased to note that it didn't say what I thought it said, which is just as well, given that it's on the top floor of an office block and hardly 'convenient'. 051
