These are my favorite type weekends. Bill Withers, PJ Harvey, Billie Holiday, Radiohead… it starts with a blind record grab and then continues as random chill picks or we go down a rabbit hole that only makes sense if you are there and even then we often wonder, how we got there.

My mom loved keeping in touch with her former students of FB. Someone posted, “Show me your DILF’s” and my mom proudly posted to her page a slide that said “My DILF’s ❤️”followed by a slide showing all her Dogs. I asked her what she thought DILF meant, she rolled her eyes, “dogs I’ll love forever.” 🤣

Vacuuming, it kills my head. I literally can’t hear right for hours after, and it makes me dizzy. So I have all hardwood floors and washable throw carpets now. Rarely vacuum but when I do it’s a spot treatment and I hold my breath, I don’t know why but it helps.

Would you believe my Strawberry Shortcake doll from 1979 still smells? I kept her in a plastic bag because I was concerned she’d lose her smell. I found her in a box at my parents house, I probably haven’t opened that bag in over 30 years, but when I did, her scent wafted out like it was yesterday.
