My kids are lone maskers but last week at my older one's college, noticed a handful of students masking, which is so refreshing cuz my kid is not a lone masker there. Other kid's school has some teachers/staff masking but don't think any other student is.

They seriously have nothing else better to do than to attack people. It also hurts people with OCD (my kid included). My kid doesn't mask because of OCD but because we don't want long covid (or get sick and miss school) and family member has stage 4 cancer. My kid understands science.

On the flip side, Chinese technology probably already way surpassed archaic crappy American technology. I mean, just look at basic building designs, phones, laptops, computers, etc...we can't even get falling apart trains to run on time lol.

I was just mocked last week for still wearing a respirator by a now ex-friend. She also mocked me by saying "everyone's a little disabled"....she is a health care professional who passed out when she had covid...just like Bob Wachter.

An ex-friend mocked me for wearing one. Then she put 🤣 when I told her I'm disabled. Then she said "everyone's a little disabled" so I shut down and ended the convo. She said that I've changed....she also had a Bob Wachter experience when she blacked out in bathroom w/ covid. F them all.

The same Americans have literacy levels comparable to a 2 year old. Before anyone is allowed to vote, they should at least pass a 4th grade level test on how the government works and that includes current politicians, who obviously don't even know what the Constitution is.

My kiddo has a year long school innovation project and is considering doing something related to fit testing kiddos especially in light of climate change, pollution, and infectious diseases....still thinking it out but she saw how much stress we put into finding masks for the family...

We are still vaccinating for ourselves and my sibling who has stage 4 cancer. Kids and I get them ever 6 months now once family member got diagnosis. We are also lone maskers too but at least my hubby is a tall and big guy so nobody dares to glare at us when I'm with him.

I asked my previous dentist to wear a N95 and she told me she can't mandate her staff to do so. So, I left. But that also means I'll probably not go to a dentist for a long time now until I have enough energy to find a new one.

My kiddo went to a new high school event in an Aura and the teachers were supportive and mentioned they mask when it's risky environments. Preemptively filled out health forms that kiddo will be wearing a respirator due to stage 4 cancer in family to avoid weirdness.

Let’s be clear here, when scientists say mistakes were made at the start of the pandemic, we DO NOT mean that we did too much. We mean not socially distancing quickly enough, not making tests widely available, and not acknowledging COVID is airborne and distributing N95 masks to everyone.
