No #hedgehogs here for over two years, but yesterday I found there was one in the hog house so I put the camera out. One very satisfied hog with food, water and comfortable accommodation 💕🦔

Just sitting in the kitchen, looked up and spotted this green woodpecker on my parched lawn.

The dryad’s saddle has returned up the back passage (that’s what my late husband called the lane at the back of our house and it always makes me titter!) 😁💚🍄‍🟫

This common field #grasshopper popped in to say hello. It’s giving me the side eye! 💚🦗

This #HedgehogWeek, we’re asking you to take action with The Hedgehog Pledge! Did you know that #hedgehogs can get caught in sports nets & garden netting? Share this handy tip & pledge to do more for #hedgehogs! 🦔 🥅 🪴 🔗 buff.ly/TSV5SrQ 🖌️ emilyheaven.com
Image of a hedgehog tangled up in a football net. Text reads: Hedgehogs can become entangled in netting: ensure sports nets are put away and garden netting is raised 30cm off the ground so 'hogs can pass safely underneath,

Needed to remove an old cotoneaster that had got very leggy and was dying off. Would never have managed it without my late husband’s Stihl mini chainsaw as the branches and trunk were so thick. Not a bad morning’s work for this old dear!

#Fox has no problems accessing the food by flipping off the saucer designed to stop the neighbourhood cats eating it, and it works because cats just sniff and walk past 💚🦊

Just had a redpoll on my sunflower heart feeder, but it got spooked by a wood pigeon before I could get a photo of it. A rare visitor to my garden #birdwatching

Any #dolphin #cetacean experts out there? Way back in June 2014 my late husband and I were in the #IsleofMan and spotted this dolphin. A few days previously we had seen a bottlenose but this looked different (brief sighting!). Risso's maybe? Not the greatest of photos, I know!
