Eastern Christian Church history isn’t my area but did some digging after seeing the Coptic churches in Cairo. Looks like the Greek Orthodox Church in Alexandria have a Pope as do the Copts. And there both called Tawdoros II / Theodoros II but are two different people. I need to investigate further!

Religious old Cairo this am after seeing the Royal Mummies. Coptic churches and a lovely peaceful Mosque. People rushing into the Mosque with coffins was quite a thing.

Stuck in gridlocked traffic in Cairo and there’s an old boy going walking selling all sorts of car sunshades - said to the driver “bet he’s called Mohammed Al Ford!”. One of us laughed. I do miss my Dad at times like this.

I think Noone moved to NYC early and acted as “liaison officer” for a lot of groups heading there for the first time. AFAIK everyone seemed to like him.
