Your county library system should have a copy of Wheelock's latin doesn't matter what edition. Most of the book you will skip but each chapter has a section connecting English words with Latin roots.

The 22nd amendment is no less the law of the land than the first. And does anyone believe that Trump will be able to convince a majority of Amercans that he will be physically able to do the job until 2023? Even those who continue to enthusiastically support his policies.

Nah - President Cleveland married his guardian, who was 30 years younger. She called him Uncle Cleve. Trump is unique in the vast number of ways he repellant, but he is never original in any of it.

Knights of the Underbed, by Gallant Knight Games, is a role player game designed for play by multi generational groups. A group of stuffed animals is defending their children against nightmares.

Trustworthiness, Respect, responsibility! I used to teach the state mandated character counts curriculum, but it's not longer required. I guess someone noticed that each pillar had stories and quotes from a range of faiths.

For that age I'd recommend Kate Dicamillo, Avi, Sharon Creech, Lois Lowry, and Kelly Barnhill as being consistently good authors. Especially dicamillo's "Because of Winn Dixie" and "Flora and Ulysses ". Also Lowry's "Tree, Table, Book", about intergenerational friendship, is a classic.
