Hard to envisage that kind of thing now, given that big tech has worked out how to lock everyone out unless they pay, and take everything for themselves. Getting out and about and meeting people face to face is the way forward now I reckon, the real world over the virtual world.Just like old times!

Personally, I haven't had great interaction since Myspace, where I licensed albums and did gigs in Russia and Japan, among others. People were open, social media was innocent and trusting; then big tech, algorithms, and the right-wing made us all raise our barriers. Still trying tho. I like it here.

Loved this band... When I was English assistant at a Lycée near Paris in 1985 they played a show in the school park grounds, not open to the public. Never found out what it was in aid of, but a special moment. 'C'est comme ça' was always the track to put on before a night out partying! RIP

Ebay sent me an update the other day promoting their international service, where you send to the buyer via their hub in the UK and they take care of the rest. Wonder if that includes all the nonsense with these new EU regs and whether small businesses could use it by selling through an Ebay shop?

You're quoting 2 year-old stats, without context, which you seem to require. Still scored more goals than Eze. The reason he would cost is because baseline is higher. Rogers, Anderson, etc - that's the market. No idea if he'd be good, but the Hughes is "destroying LFC" cliche is laughable.

As a musician with my own tiny label it's got to the stage where it's hard to care any more. After Brexit, Covid, cost of living crisis, the streaming ripoff, the rise of AI, and moronic EU legislation there's no point even pretending music is a viable job. But I do it anyway because I like it.
