I was going to ask if you were going to do this as i'm not really comfortable with Twitch - You Tube is where i best enjoy content so really pleased you will upload here. I won't be laughing at your suffering though.......probably need a guiding hand myself as these types of games i can only watch.

Good morning to you both (if it is still morning with you.) Will always be a pleasure to see Rosie.

(2/2) This unvaulting will be the most complete storytelling version of the saga we will have actually had all in one place. Great for those new to the game, and for any veteran who might even consider a brand new playthrough - that's certainly my intention. Appreciate your articles as always Paul.

(1/2) I'm perfectly fine with this personally, and definitely wasn't someone expecting Destiny 2 to return to a live status. Destiny 2 for me allowed me to escape to a world for 12+ years and tell my own story within that which Bungie were also telling. At an older age too (being 60+now.)

If i may say it is a rather nice, and comfy looking cardigan. And i've become more partial to these instead of sweaters the older i have become.

Always a pleasant welcome to my morning.

I envy you a little as i do like my pastries quite a bit. I dare not eat my weight's worth though - could be dangerous😁Enjoy. Keep safe out there.

You be sure to look after yourself, and recover soon from your poorly stomach.

I absolutely adore this - I admittedly am not as knowledgeable of the Magic world as i wish i could be (i am assuming it is connected due to it being on a Magic site.) But this is fantastic writing of this genre, and incredibly immersive. Pinning as a regular open window on my pc.

Even though we don't know each other Alison, i'd like to hope you would feel comfortable posting whatever is meaningful to you. You always have interesting things to say and share, and i simply like to read, and even learn, even at my senior age. You will always be shown respect from me, and others.

Mortal Shell 2 could have been a whole show of it's own as i'm sure you could have filled an hour or two with your thoughts. Even though it's not as open a world like Elden Ring, the map is still so vast, and yes, dense. I haven't travelled half of what i have unlocked, and still so much is hidden.

110

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

I share the addiction my friend. I actually found myself just strolling over a section of the map earlier, died, completely, and then enjoyed the same long walk to retrieve my gloom. Sheer pleasure. I'll have to look out for that tarstone. Would certainly come in handy.

This really is a gem of a game, and i am enjoying every minute of the journey. From the visuals, to the smooth combat, and the general excitement of anything new i pick up and how it may affect/improve my build. I'm a slow gamer who can't manage lengthy game sessions, but what a game to get lost in.

110

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

A much appreciated review. I'm starting my journey in a few hours after acknowledging from the open beta that this might be a souls game designed for me. Time will tell but i'm looking forward to beginning, and each review i read or watch seems to be a useful confirmation of my decision.

I actually discovered your Elden Ring videos a little while back. Certainly different to your cosy game vibe, but well worth watching.

Hey, just checking in to see if you are ok?

010

Thinking of happier times within Fields of Mistria will hopefully help you get through the 9-5 grind.

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

You still have it a little bit easier than some of us. But i hear you nonetheless.

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

Just finished watching this. A huge sense of pride for you Ains. This video shows you work hard and where you can over the years you've invested into your gaming passion. And it clearly reveals a lifelong connection with the gaming industry as a whole. Fantastic displays of your collections.

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

This is the first time in a very long time that i preordered. Normally i prefer to have access to a game as soon as i have purchased it. This one i am eager to have earlier access to begin the journey properly. And honestly Ains, it's nice to feel excitement for a game. Been in a lull just lately.

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

Quick update - I wasn't certain if another souls game would be realistic for me after Elden Ring. After a late night of the open beta i feel confident that i can not only enjoy at my pace, but maybe even achieve more in progress. My interest is now heightened. Looking forward to full release.

110

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

That is how i navigated Elden Ring, slow but sure. Always appreciate the advice though. Will certainly let you know my thoughts after the weekend.

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

Have it installed - jumping in over the weekend. Bearing in mind i am not the skilled souls gamer of many like yourself, but i had some successes in Elden Ring and this game has a vibe about it that certainly interests me. Thanks for the heads up.

So many companies generally, not just within the gaming industry, could benefit from a Hayley and her approach. FuturLab gains so much, and in such a special way with Hayley on the team. Such an interesting and heartwarming discussion.

Nowhere looks pretty amazing, and the kind of peaceful solitude i would certainly welcome right about now. Sounds like you are being blessed with some wonderful sights. Thank you for sharing.

Just to update you - finished watching a few minutes ago. I don't wish to repeat the words i shared on your video, but i do want to thank you for giving those of us interested a fun and calming gaming experience. You bring a really natural vibe to the games you share. Don't stop being you.😊

Looking forward to watching this final instalment either later today or tomorrow.

Sorry to hear it's been a tough week. But a blessing to have Rosie, and good music to help you through it. Wishing you a pleasant weekend ahead (from a far too warm UK right now.)

Congratulations. So very well deserved. You should all be so very proud.

If it's an inner debate then this must mean there are pros and cons. More of one than the other is a quick way to resolve the issue. If it's an equal tie then i guess you go with what reaches you the most. Just the thoughts of an old man gamer.

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Good morning sleepy. Hope your day treats you kindly.

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

3/3 Bungie's future does indeed look grim as you say. They do have Marathon, and even though it doesn't have the appeal for me it is a creation i respect and i genuinely hope it provides for them. The reality is, in my view, that they need something else but they are now a shell of their best years.

110

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

2/3 Bungie created a world where i could basically reinvent myself in the gaming sense. Tell a story of my own within their own narrative. Today i'm still carving out those final chapters by running new classes as i only ever mainlined one. Eventually my story will run it's course. As all things do.

110

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

1/3 I come at this from, i guess, the die-hard angle as i have invested a large part of me in the Destiny world, though also taking time to experience other games. 2000 to 2010 was a traumatic time for me - gaming became a lifesaver, but it was Destiny 1 a few years later that made the difference.

110

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

Hello. Wanted to add just quickly a thank you for your engagement to my words on this video, though i won't post there often due to my own comfort. Looking forward to the first part that i missed and the eventual finale. It really is a beautiful little game. And that snow was mighty refreshing😁

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

As someone who struggles with the heat of our current summer's, and whose health conditions are affected by the temperatures, i can certainly appreciate a snowy video option. (I'll take winter sunshine over that of the summer any time.)

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

It's not whining if those on the receiving end view your words as you reaching out and sharing how you are feeling.

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

Haven't been back to Brighton in over 30 years.....nice to get a little flavour of it back in my timeline.

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

A very Happy 3rd Birthday to you Rosie. Thank you for bringing an adorable sight to my timeline every once in a while.

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

Hold strong - you will be home sooner than you know to enjoy your Moonlight Peaks adventure.

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

I'll say good afternoon as we are close to that now. I envy you potentially having caught up on your sleep. I feel that i will forever be playing catch-up on all the years of sleep i have missed out on. And i still am up around 5am to begin my days!!!

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

I really like and appreciate this whole format. The Game Jam as it shows the connection between all the developers/teams, and your studio overall. But i will always also appreciate those opportunities where we get to know the people involved in the games we enjoy.

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

Hello Rosie. Always a pleasure to see you.

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

I always appreciate seeing our canine family in my timeline. Since losing my old boy last year, sharing in the joy that these beloved pets provide to others raises a smile.

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

Certainly makes sense given the temperatures we are experiencing right now. Lovely to see safety and comfort considered as high priorities.

000

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

Appreciated Ains - thank you. I'm looking at light curved ones, and not only for any pc gaming but also my writing which i am trying to return to as i have a couple of personal projects i'd like to put my time into whilst my aging brain can still find the words. Again, thank you.

010

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

I can well imagine. I'm considering a curved screen - i've literally never had one and feel like i would appreciate a change. Any experience of these for pros or cons? (as i ask this i wonder if your ultrawide is by default of a curved variety.)

110

Shadow Writer @mrshadowwriter.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

Witchfire is a game i have really wanted to invest solid time into following my initial purchase. Planning to invest in a larger monitor for my gaming laptop as my pc gaming journey has taken a backseat for a while due to screen size. Looking forward to 1.0 release as a time to jump back in again.
