Tonight’s Wednesday Night Magic event at our store is a piñata format where each pod is battling a turkey. The winner of each pod will receive one of these “fabulous” Turkey leg Rice Krispy Treats. I’m adding this to my resume. 😆

For years, they've ranted about teachers "indoctrinating" kids.
Meanwhile, Republicans are literally pushing PragerU into classrooms nationwide. This is the indoctrination we should actually fear: slick right-wing propaganda that denies climate change, whitewashes slavery, glorifies fossil fuels, downplays systemic racism, rewrites U.S. history to make colonialism and war look noble, attacks feminism and LGBTQ+ rights, and paints unregulated capitalism as the only path forward.

I’ve been traveling for work this week. Heading home and stopped for the night in Lexington and had to share this sticker on the tea containers at Bourbon n’ Toulouse.

After my brother’s post Election Day texts left me deciding to sever those relationships, I’ve been a little anxious for the holidays. But hosting some friends for Friendsgiving, a home brew D&D campaign, charcuterie, video games, board games, and a lot of laughter remind me what I’m grateful for.

I will never get tired of using LEGO builds with my students. Each group spun a wheel, and the character name it landed on meant they had to decide on a pivotal scene from our daily podcast to recreate with that character and then explain the significance of that event. #EduSky
