(I’m skeptical of this part). So he’s safe in America but his wife and infant daughter aren’t. They’re stuck in Vienna Germany with no money and no Visa. He finds a job in New Rochelle as a shoe maker. His boss pays him $30 a month. But lies on an affidavit saying he makes much more. 6 mo/ later

Thanksgiving day 1938 my grandfather arrived in NYC with nothing but the $20 bill he had hidden from the Nazis in his hatband. He left behind his wife and infant daughter. My mom. There was a blizzard that day and his uncle wasn’t at the dock to meet him.

Dense breast notification law creates new problem I’ve never seen before in 20 + years. Patient had a screening mammogram AND sonogram in July 2024. Other than dense breasts no other findings. Patient gets a letter telling her her breasts are dense so she scheduled ANOTHER screening sonogram 2day.
