a Pokémon a day keeps artblock away #644 Zekrom and it's also my birthday

Illustration of Zekrom. The legendary Pokémon is standing widely, with both of its arms open, and it's looking forward with its mouth open in a mighty roart. Its tail is charging up electricity.

always start with references/bases.....you dont necessarily have to follow them to a tee but you can try and loosely get the idea of the shapes and stuff. i suggest starting with the head because they can get annoying you could look at references on pinterest thats how i learned anyway

the funniest part to me is the fact theyre ignoring the other mascots (which i hate equally if not more)

Absol @mrrowgen.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I'm much like this with Pokémon don't worry...I have a bunch of Pokémon characters that I can barely call my own because their appearance differs in minor ways that only appeal to me. Making unique characters of established species is hard so I get it... I dunno how people do this...

Absol @mrrowgen.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Duly noted I actually think I've seen this before, and I thought about it... Maybe I'll give it a go sometime.

They neutered it in 3dx but I kind of find it funnier that way. He goes from leue to Loūū

when you put it like that it sounds more enticing. it wouldnt be too warm cuz youd have glaceon (and maybe vaporeon?) to help cool you down (and i imagine flareon can control its heat anyway) i would be a little scared to go near sylveon admittedly...

Absol @mrrowgen.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

never really got the hype for eeveelutions. they're neat but i guess they aren't my thing it's not because they're popular either because all of my favourite friends are popular too
