Pretty much the whole story behind it is insane. The guy who started it all wanted to get even with his ex-girlfriend. So started five guys # as a precursor. The wildest part is His rebound girlfriend who was in on it. Pretty much admitted it after he killed himself while trying to justify it.

I would say kind of. All of the early gamer gate stuff was mostly targeting feminist/women in general and saying it was ethics and games journalism. The follow up was game shouldn’t be about anything or art. Because certain groups made their own games that were about stuff.

It’s probably because they have been working on it for a while now. So have to show something. Was it a wise idea to do a live interview with a big name of course not. Given the benefit of the doubt, they probably didn’t have enough time to do a test interview. Still not a good look.
