I have pivoted completely from religion and religious practice. If you’re interested why I’m happy to have that conversation, and if not that’s totally cool too. I also have no judgement or contention with anyone’s religious or irreligious path, and esteem every person as inherently worthy of love. Peace.

It's been about two years since I made this post and I
thought I'd give a little update.
nOw
Meditation has been an important practice to me for
several years, particularly where it comes to managing the
symptoms of anxiety and PTSD. But l've found it hard to be
consistent on my own.
I've become part of a small Buddhist sangha in the Plum
Village Zen tradition as a support to silent, seated
meditation. This is something Hyon Gak told me a long
time ago I would need, and l've found it to be true (it only
took several years and many bumps to hear it, Sunim
and in light of the implosion of my marriage and my
impaired relationship to my young-adult children I need all
the support I can get.
I see this as less of a return to religion as such, and more of
the beginning of a focused path that allows me to more
fully experience a practice I have made an attempt at but
need to become more immersed in.
May all beings be peaceful.
May all beings be happy.
May all beings be safe.
May all beings awaken to the light of their true nature.
May all beings be free.
