mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 10/10/2026#Day10 of #Gobtober and #Inktober The prompts of the day are #Oracle and #Mystical This old duffer may be my favorite thus far! 0101
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 09/10/2026#Day9 of #Gobtober and #Inktober ! The prompts du jour are #Feral and #Ram respectively. I'm really hitting the nail on the head for these, but that's okay. I'm not looking to invest a ton of time brainstorming. Just Git er' dun! 030
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 08/10/2026#Day8 of #Gobtober and #Inktober Prompts were #Prankster and #Stinky respectively. I don't even want to know what they have planned... I managed to get ahead by one day, so now you should get these in the morning! #procreate #goblins 140
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 08/10/2026#Day7 of #Gobtober / #Inktober and the prompts were #pet and #panic Poor gobo. I keep doing this to them, but I don’t really mean to! 051
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I really want to get ahead of these so that I can publish in the mornings. We'll see about tomorrow. #Day6 of #Gobtober / #Inktober and the prompts were #Lunch and #Ogre respectively. Poor gobbo... 040
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Finally got a few more minutes to finish getting caught up! Here we've got #Day5 or #Gobtober / #Inktober The prompts were #Guard and #Smack. 070
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 05/10/2026#Day4 of #Gobtober / #inktober (I’m playing catch up). Prompts were: #magical / #cactus I found myself thinking of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice where Mickey brought a broom to life… 060
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 04/10/2026#Day3 of #Gobtober! Today's prompts were #fire and #miniature. Not sure how well 'miniature' comes across, but when you're blowing an ember into a full blown fire as this guy is, I think it counts for mini. Anyway - hope you enjoy! 020
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Today’s quick concept sketch during a coffee break… (Will post the finished work later.) 020
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 03/10/2026And #Day2 of #Gobtober / #Inktober is a wrap! The prompts for today are #hat and #relic This goblin's hat is a relic of a bygone age. One I miss dearly. Do you recognize it? He seems pretty proud of it. See @oddartworks for the list of prompts for Gobtober if you want to join! 070
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 02/10/2026#Day1 is finished (or at least, this is where I'm stopping). For those just tuning in, I'm doing both #Gobtober and #Inktober and mixing the prompt lists together. So today's is #Goblin and @Apple for, well, this! Alerady really enjoying this year! 2121
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Today’s concept. Far from done, but 10 minute coffee break was enough to get the idea down… #gobtober #inktober #goblin #apple @oddartworks 091
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 01/10/2026If you're somehow not already aware of Juan Moore's work, you really should check out his youtube channel: www.youtube.com/@odd... - I _highly_ recommend it! 2/2 030
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Heads up: I ❤️ Inktober. I've fallen hard for the works of Juan Moore aka 'oddartworks' - he does Gobtober each year, so I thought why not both?! I'm doing a goblin each day that is related to both lists. Because apparently I'm a glutton for punishment. Here are the lists, for your convenience! 1/2 140
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 08/09/2026It's my birthday once again! Now that I’m *mumble mumble* years old, I would love it if you would share my work with folks who might enjoy it. And of course, if you would like to have me illustrate your character, creature, or ttrpg product, get in touch! 261
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Just going to throw this out there: For the cost of your average “value meal” at your favorite fast food place, you could get almost a half year of art from me and show me very clearly that you want me to make more art. Just sayin. 1/2 150
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Pssst! I do coloring books of my illustration work. And most of them are free! mrlich.gumroad.com/ 020
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 22/08/2026Lots of client work that I can't currently share, but today, I gave myself a short break to make something for an upcoming @IonQuestGames product: a blue dragon skeleton! #b&wart #FunWithAnatomy #LocationLexicon 051
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Just stumbled over this one again, and thought I would (re)share. When I read the original post, it got me thinking about other conversations that the Bad Guys might have. What do YOU think they talk about behind the scenes? #FantasyComicStrip #villains #lich #goblin 130
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 14/08/2026If there’s room for it, I would love to be considered for inclusion. Fantasy characters, OCs, (and creatures) are kinda my jam. 020
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 14/08/2026I wouldn’t say that I mainly do b&w, but I would say that I regularly work in black and white. (Great theme for an art pack, btw!) Would love to be considered for inclusion! 120
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 13/08/2026You know those times when you start out working on a simple spot illustration, and it gets away from you? By that, I mean, it becomes a full blown scene that would work as a cover illustration? Yeah. Happening with this one for @IonQuestGanes #eagle #bard #lute 051
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 08/08/2026Time lapse of the sketch stage for my newest client art. This will eventually be card art for TouchdownsAndDragon.com (Can’t wait to play this game!) 030
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 25/07/2026Happy Saturday, my fellow TTRPG illustrators! I'm thinking it might be fun to do a collaborative project specifically with other illustrators. Wanna chat about that? Let me know here. 020
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 19/07/2026Hello from my #StudioDuJour ! Where are you doing your artwork? 010
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 13/07/2026Wow. The guidelines mean this list was practically made for me! I’d be honored to be considered for inclusion. 000
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 13/07/2026That is quite the collection of artists! I would be honored to be considered for the list! 220

mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 30/06/2026Anyone who knows me can tell you things involving lycanthropy are dear to my heart, so it comes as no surprise that I love this entry from the Location Lexicon - Under Silverlight: The Moonglow Vale. mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 24/06/2026Heh. I said I would share the Table of Contents for my Fantasy Alphabet Series, and then I proceeded to post without the link. Apparently, I need more coffee. www.patreon.com/mrli... 051
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 21/06/2026Posted the latest in my Fantasy Alphabet series. I did it just now, which is an awkard / unusual time / day, so I thought I would let everyone know in case any of you were waiting for it. :) #pseudodragon #elf #ttrpgart 110
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 31/05/2026If you see this, post a knight. This image is from all the way back in 2022, I've improved a lot, but I still love the idea of it. I might have to do a new version... 0112
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 25/05/2026The next round of art work is about to get underway for Touchdowns & Dragons! I can't wait to see what group of American Football team positions I'm working on next, and what fantasy archetypes the boss picked to play them! 1/2 120
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 24/05/2026Been a while since I did one, so here is my #StudioDuJour It’s the Tamper Room Cafe and Gallery in Fremont, CA. Nice place, fun local art, good coffee, and sweet treats. Kinda can’t go wrong! 120
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 22/05/2026Lastly? I’m working on my first solo produced game, and it will be released first to my patrons. Please, please, please consider joining them and directly supporting what I do. It would mean the world to me! patreon.com/mrlich (There are free as well as paid tiers.) 5/5 011
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 22/05/2026One of these stages are the digital inks, which make for great coloring book pages. Print them out and color them as you like. Don’t like the results? Print another copy and try again! As a side note: this element is one of my personal favorite aspects of my process. 4/5 111
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 22/05/2026I almost always provide multiple ‘stages’ for my patrons to enjoy, and I describe a little of what went into that stage of the art. So you’re getting a micro ‘tutorial’ or ‘behind the scenes’ with every stage of every piece. 3/5 100
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 22/05/2026On the rare occasion that I miss a week, I go back and create something to backdate and make sure that my people get what they want. I take suggestions and feedback very seriously and often create art based simply on what folks say they would like to see. 2/5 100
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 22/05/2026I just wanted to take a minute to share some news / an update: For those who don’t know, I share artwork of a character (pc or npc), a creature, a magic item, or… well - _something_ to help inspire your TTRPG game sessions on my art blog every week. 1/5 142
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 15/05/2026Finally trying out Adobe Fresco on my iPad. Long overdue, but I feel super awkward since I’ve spent so much time in Procreate with all my shortcuts. Minor issue in the grand scheme of things. It’s also interesting how it makes me THINK about what I’m doing again. 000
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 12/05/2026Okay, so you like making #ttrpg stuff. Whether it's #homebrew or something you're trying to sell through DTRPG, or... well, just about anything. Imagine you suddenly had access to an illustrator. What would you have them do / make? 023
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 10/05/2026Last night, I was doing some work on my Art blog / Patreon. Came to the realization that I have over 200 characters / creatures up there! That feels like a significant milestone. “Bruno” here is one of the next to go up. Any requests? 030
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 06/05/2026Okay, I generally have some pretty low self esteem. But I was just looking through some of my products. One of them that I really like is this mug / tee / sticker. Looking at the competition? I think I did alright! (How strange!). What do YOU think? www.teepublic.com/mu... 120

mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 04/05/2026New #1100 comic strip! Based on a true story. (For the record, I genuinely didn’t mind. Just found it amusing since I never open my hotel windows) 130
mrlich @mrlich.bsky.social · 03/05/2026Working on a semi autobiographical image for #MerMay I don’t know about you, but the fantasy images of galant knights or handsome ship captains being tempted by mermaids have always been amazing, but disconnected for me. In personal romances, I’ve always felt more like a goblin 130
