Again, at least there is 104.1 which *tries* to actually be a decent alternative? Heard a lot of shit on there I hadn't even thought about in years/never heard of before. Need to tune into them more often, but otherwise, radio up here is kinda dull and not getting much better.

That's also not to mention how outside of Rock stations, you really only get either Spanish-speaking stations (which I have no problem with, but do not and SHOULD NOT appeal to me) or Hot 93.7 which... fucking ew (3/?)

because 102.1, 102.9, and 105.9 all have sort of homogenized into playing one singular setlist from my experience - like, the most change you'll ever get is them playing more of an artist's music once they die (case in point - the sudden surge of Tom Petty music after his passing) (2/?)

So... honestly it's a bit of a mixed bag. The major stations I end up getting from the Hartford area (as far as rock goes) are like, Rock 102 (102.1 FM) from up in MA, 102.9 The Whale, 104.1 WMRQ-FM, and 105.9 The River. Out of those, the only one I actually like is WMRQ. (1/?)
