You can tap the next trip, and on the improved trip page it will highlight the stop(s) that are closed, allow you to locate yourself on the map to help you figure out the best alternate, as well as estimate the current location of the bus. Hope that helps some people! Again, any feedback welcome :)

Well let’s say you’re around this stop and check it, it highlights that this stop is affected by a notice then highlights the stop in the notice.

Oh, I see what happened, I entered it into the top box because I didn’t see the bottom box at first 😆 I got it now, I guess the Feb result was related to when it was still a merged Bus & LRT feed and that was around when the separation was implemented… but… still a slightly confusing result

I also made a thing to try keeping track of when the LRVs were last seen on real time data grtapp.ca/lastseen.asp . I don’t think we’ve seen 512 for a while, at least not in any recent real time feeds. Wonder if it’s still out from the last crash

Grand River Transit app grtapp.ca finally supports real time trip updates for bus & LRT 😃 (well it’s real-time ish as it’s a couple of minutes between data reloads for performance reasons, but hopefully it can still be helpful. There’s still the option to send a text). Built without AI!

I have finally figured out how to provide real-time data on grtapp.ca 😃 (thanks to transitland apis) service alerts will now show on the main page, and on stop pages of applicable routes. Will work on getting trip updates at a later time. 0% vibe-coded 🙂

Well it is on the web site and I believe it should be on a little display at the station entrance area but agreed, there should definitely be clearer signage as you’re walking through the station which platform to go to for what destination
